Thank you for having the courage to tell the whole truth. Ive have been sober since 1986 and found that the narrow minds in AA taught me to fear becoming relly emotionally healed. I have long ago accepted that i cant drink or use drugs. frankly if
i still wanted too I would have never came ibto recovery. but, to create in anyone a fear of really healin, and an unquestining loyalty, is very dangerous and cruel.

I love this site. Traditional AA is not for me. Its outdated and there are a many unhealthy indiv. in those rooms. I have been clean and sober a few 24 hours and I left the rooms. I work out I eat right I work on myself towards healthy behaviors and choices. I am well, I still have 2 really good friends (in AA) who understand me and truly love me uncondtionally. I meditate etc. I love being clean and sober
