I am looking for help with a family member who is addicted to pills. I myself have done the drug and Alcohol counselor course, but need outside help with this. I am looking for ways to help, and you have helped me. I applaud your strength and openness when discussing your addictions , as it does help others. Taking it one hour, one day, at a time, is what I say. And I do believe that you must believe in yourself, which for some, is not easy. Bless you for sharing your story and for trying to help others.

I have been reading your posts. I know that freeing yourself from whatever demons your battling is a commitment! Get mad at your addiction! View it as someone who seeks to bring you down and hurt you, kill you and get the best of you. Its time that we take control, feel how we have always wanted to feel and view our new found sobriety as a new life being born again to rediscover yourself and new passions! I have found that only through faith in God could I have ever done this! I was a 30-40 10/325 lortab taker a day...not anymore! If this is you I promise you that if you remain mentally strong and know that though Christs infinite strength you can be sober! You will be! You must work hard and not give the temptation an inch. Who would you rather have rule your life? God or Satan? Each pill is a little evil Satan laughing at you...dont give him anymore room than he's already taken from us! Fill your heart with commitment to your descision to live free in every way. God bless us always...read Luke 15!!!!!!

Thank you for your words of inspiration. I do like the zero tolerance approach.
