New eBook About Addiction and Creative Recovery – Instant Download
I just put the finishing touches on my latest eBook, the Addiction Help Guide. You can download the PDF file for free, right here. It is 44 pages of information.
My regular readers will recognize most of the ideas in it, but there are a few new things that I have pulled out from my other websites as well. There is also a chapter at the end about helping other addicts and alcoholics to recover.
Several topics are covered, including:
* The 2 stages of recovery and how your strategy should differ for each stage
* The transition to long term sobriety
* Typical mistakes that are made in early recovery
* Going beyond group therapy as a solution
* Finding a framework for creative recovery
* Creating with action in your life
* Using gratitude and continuous learning as tools for recovery
* What comes next after achieving the creative life in recovery
* Helping others with recovery
If you enjoy this eBook, please share it with others. You can distribute it freely and share it with others however you choose.

Chick J Says:
” I waited too long to start helping other addicts, which is the cornerstone to recovery.” That quote hit me. To help others is something I never really read about. I know a lot of people who get clean, do help others. But it never came to me as part of the recovery process.
Mischelle Says:
Im now going to a brand new church that has just started and Im wanting to start a recovery of life group focused toward everyone who has and or is in the sin of alcohol and or addiction.
I believe that when you uncover the unsderlying problem that began your alcohol or drug use then you are able to begin your recovery…And with Gods help are able to live again, hence the recovery of life based alot like the 12 steps but instead of addiction you are able to recovery because I believe that God doesnt make mistakes and the only God to bow down to is the One and Only God the Father of Jesus. I also believe that when you begin your recovery of life by following the phrase progress not perfection you will be able to leave alcohol and drugs behind for a new life with a true addiction “Christ.”
Can you guide me in the correct direction to begin a group of this type?
Patrick Says:
I might take on that type of challenge some day, Michelle, but I am not quite there yet. Stay tuned though…..I hope to tackle a project like that some day.

WOW, your document and insightfullness into this is amazing. I am an alcohol abuser, have been all my life, very successful, pretty package on the outside but leaned on alcohol so I did not have to feel etc. I decided to become sober this past weekend, so it has been 3 days no drinks and I feel great. I used to workout a lot etc but a bad job etc led me down a bad path. Thank you for sharing all of your insight it truly is inspirational. Now I know I can do this! :-)
