Good morning! I believe today would be Day 48! Feeling kind of run down, but not giving up! It's not the exercise, in fact that's probably what's keeping me going the other 90% of the time! Glad to see you two stuck it out over the weekend, Sylvane and Todd! Hope to be back on my game in a few hours. lol

    Have a great day, everyone!!

Hi Sylvane, The movie was kind of cute actually, thanks. My 6 year old had some money and my wife told him he could spend it on treats if he wanted. He ordered a huge thing of popcorn and ate the whole thing (we had stopped for lunch just before the movie too).

Hi Erin, Hope your batteries charges back up soon.

Was raining here when I got home. Never really let up, so I just got a walk in. I'll try for some bike time tomorrow if it's dry out.

Good morning! Day 49! I'm catching a cold and I think that's why this is such a struggle right now. It's been run, run, run for at least the past 3 weeks for us, and even if I get 7 hours of sleep one night a week, it's apparently not making up for the other 6 nights a week that I'm sleep deprived. LOL A nap sounds awesome right now. Oh well, moving forward! I've been taking my Emergen-C and that stuff works wonders if you take it at the beginning of a cold.

Good for you, Sylvane, for thinking about putting the "challenge" back in your challenge. I've been thinking the same, except it seems to be a challenge right now to even do what I'm doing! LOL

Hello, Todd! Have a great day, everyone!!

Hi Erin, Sorry to hear about your cold. Hope it works through your system soon.

Hi Sylvane, You have got me wondering now if you made the hill or not.

I got in 25 min on the bike around 8pm. I'll probably walk the dog before bed. I like when I can get on the bike, so feeling like I'm on track. My sister has a thing where you can put the back tire up on it and ride your regular bike inside in bad weather. I saw one in the store when we were buying the kids baseball gear, but it was $200 or so. That's a bit much for me. I would like to get one though. Maybe I'll check craigslist for one.

Ok, I am back and ready to start the challenge again. I started diet on Monday, have lost a few pounds and am feeling motivated.... Finally!

Erin, I am so impressed with how many days in a row you have. Awesome!!

I haven't been on here because I have been back to all my old habits, including drinking too much wine at night. I am ready to quit that again, too.

Here is to Day 1 and a new beginning. . I am glad to see lots of old friends still on here posting, not drinking AND exercising everyday. You all inspire me.

Well, I slept in today. lol! That's the bad news... but... the good news is Mommy, Daddy & the little Munchkin have already planned to go to town and take a walk after dinner tonight, so today WILL be Day 50! Even if it happens to rain and we don't walk, I will get my exercise in because that's just too many days in a row to give up on now!

Sylvane, how's that 6-week challenge going for you? Last week I did sooo good... this week, I've forgotten about keeping track of my water intake, and ate fast food once. Boo! Gotta get my head back in the game.

Todd, great job!! I bet the dog is happy you got the walk in last night. lol I just realized you're from Michigan, too... what part of the mitten are you from? I'm in lower-lower, around the tri-state area.

Millie, awesome to see you back!! Been wondering where you disappeared off to. I've been having to be the team motivator lately, and it doesn't come naturally to me. LOL!! Glad you're around!

    Everyone have a great day!!

Oh, and where art thou, Dreamweaver? Every time I type that name, I think of the 70's (I think?) song, "Oooh, dreamweaver... I believe you can get me through the nii-IIIIight..."

Well I got 30 minutes in tonight. Wife is out tonight so was kind of a workaround getting some time in and keeping up with my boys. I have to get up at 4:30 to morning to make an early meeting. Ugh! If I was just going my myself I would have drove out tonight still, but I'm riding with the salesperson for the account. I guess I'll try to turn in early. Had to check back posts to see when I started this, but it's day 26 for me.

Erin, I'm in Belleville. About eight minutes west of metro airport just off 94. Pretty much that puts me at the edge of suburbia.

Sylvane, Good call on avoiding the mud I would think.

Millie, Welcome back to your thread. Thanks for starting it. I don't recall if we've meet before. I'm 50 days or so sober and new to this site about the same. I went almost eight months last year though, so I have some practice at it. Good luck with your path.

Hi Sylvane, Glad to see your hill was open.

Hi Erin, hope all is going well.

Last couple days have been less than inspirational on the exercise front for me. I did at least get some in though. Hopefully I get more time in over the weekend. Don't have any firm plans yet, so should be able to.

    Hey there,

Its officially 30 days. I got good exercise times in both today and yesterday. I may keep going a bit more with daily exercise, but not as a challenge. As long as I'm exercising regularly, I don't care that much if its daily. This was a good way to jump start a regular effort though.

I have decided to do another 30 day challenge for myself, but not an excercise one. I plan to do a 30 day non-procrastination challenge, starting today. The goal will be to do at least one thing everyday, that I would normally put off or have been putting off.

    Oops, need to start again!

Today is day 1 Again. I had a fun relaxing weekend, but did not get my exercise in.
It is amazing to me how hard it is to actually get off my butt and get it done. Todd, congrats on meeting the challenge. I was able to do it once, when i first started this thread and was so proud of myself for sticking to a commitment and getting it done. Ok, you have inspired me. I am ready to start again. I will report back when i actually get it done today.

Erin, i hope you had good weekend. What day are you on now?

20 min walk. 20 min bike. several non-procrastinations. went bike ride with my son (eight), so there were stops (watch baby duck and pick cat tails). Its very nice to get a chance to enjoy the simple things.

Sylvane, Glad you got the trail time in today. Glad to hear the fresh start Mille and joining the thread WW. Hi Erin, if your reading.

Hey all ... I need to get back on track here so am recommitting to daily exercise. And I like Todd's non-procrastination challenge idea so I'm going to join in on that for myself too .... tomorrow will be day one, and part of the challenge will be deciding which of the things I've been avoiding to attack.

Good morning... Day 1! I've lost my steam, I feel like I'm pulling the weight of the world right now, but I'm going to keep going. Think positive, think positive, think positive... I believe I got 53 under my belt before I caved.

Welcome to everyone that's jumped on board, or BACK on board... Julie, not to poke fun but I smiled a little when you decided to join the 30-day procrastination challenge, and "tomorrow will be my day one." lol

Hope everyone has a great day...

Hello, friends. Julie, I'm right there with you. I'm back on this board. I've been doing pretty well now that biking weather is here to stay, but I miss the community approach. I really need to board the anti-procrastination train! Today will be day one.

I'm off to bike to work. It feels like cheating. Once I'm on the bike I am guaranteed at least 80 minutes of exercise for the day. (But what am I doing here online? Procrastinating!)
