I have a friend who has gained considerable weight because of her addiction to beer and such other stuff. Call it funny but now the doctor has asked her to lose weight urgently but due to her alcohol addiction the weight loss treatments don’t seem to click with her well. I would forward this guide to her and hope she finds it useful. You are right that people should not expect to be able to get rid of a habit just by reading a couple of self-help books; if only it were that easy…

Yet, as the old saying goes: “A drowning man catches a straw”. Anything or anyone who helps a little in an emergency is a big help.
