Over at 15tips.com, they have a list of 15 tips to help you quit smoking. It’s not a bad list of tips, but some of them might not work out for you. For instance, the idea of “cutting down gradually” never really helped me. I tried to cut down, but I found myself compensating for the lower levels of nicotine in other ways. For instance, I would take a heavier drag on the cigarettes that I was smoking to make up for smoking fewer cigarettes. So, cutting down gradually never worked for me personally…but it might work for others. My advice? Get as many tips as you can, and keep trying different things to help you quit smoking. Eventually you will quit and make it stick.
